Whats Happening?

Owen’s Update 1/16/10

Hey everyone thanks for taking the time to come check out my blog. I will try to keep this updated with all the shows and daily happenings for me. There are a lot of exciting things coming up for me in the new year.

                I recently started broadcasting live video of my Second Life shows through Ustream. This has been a fun way for my fans to be able to see what goes on behind the scenes, and to watch as I attempt to multitask and keep up with every show. We have had a great response from people regarding the video. It can be challenging to learn how to leverage all the tools available on the internet to take my music to the next level.

Also I have recently added a YouTube account and have been posting videos from performing live on TheStageTv.com. TheStageTv.com is powered by YouTube and allows performers to enter an Open Mic style queue. Each performer starts with at least 3 minutes of time and the audience can add time to each performer if they like the music up to 180 seconds. The audience can cheer for each performer during their performance which helps to add points to the performance and affects each singer’s standings on the leader board. Every two weeks TheStageTv has cash prizes for the top three performers on the leader board. You are able to tip your favorite performers, and each performance is automatically uploaded to YouTube.
